Man admits selling Pinkham photos
A man has admitted taking private photos, understood to include one of Prince Harry fondling Natalie Pinkham's breast, from her London flat and selling them to a newspaper, according to her lawyers.
The man emailed Ms Pinkham late on Saturday evening to make the confession and she is discussing further possible action with her lawyers.
"Following media speculation, lawyers acting for TV presenter Natalie Pinkham today confirmed that she had received an email from a person ... admitting that he had taken her private photographs and sold them to a newspaper," a spokesman for Ms Pinkham said.
"The man sent the email to Ms Pinkham late on Saturday evening. In the light of these developments Miss Pinkham is discussing further possible action with her lawyers and to ensure that no one profits from the removal and subsequent sale of her personal property."
Ms Pinkham told yesterday's Mail on Sunday that the pictures of her and Prince Harry in a nightclub, which were splashed on the Sun's front page last week, had been among some negatives that were taken from her home when she moved earlier this year.
The Sun later apologised for wrongly dating and locating the story accompanying the photographs, which included one of the prince groping Ms Pinkham's breast, and for publishing the pictures without her permission.
The paper said it published the photos in good faith and offered to make a donation to a charity of Ms Pinkham's choice.
Ms Pinkham is also threatening to sue the Daily Mail over breach of copyright after the newspaper reprinted the photographs while acknowledging that they were stolen.
