Rochelle Wiseman's best friend Georgina Dorsett is set to become a regular on The Only Way Is Essex, while Nanny Pat could be in for some granny rivalry with Arg's grandmother also joining the show, it has been reported.
Property developer Georgina Dorsett is often seen on nights out at celebrity haunts such as Whiskey Mist with The Saturdays' Rochelle and Vanessa White, and has already being described by an insider as "the female Mark Wright".
"Girls really like her and she is a tough old cookie who doesn't take any nonsense," the source added.
Dorsett lives in Essex and is clearly close with Rochelle, having tweeted a snap of the newly-engaged singer's hand on Sunday, writing: "Chk out my girl's ring :) :) :) big year 2012.[sic]"
Meanwhile, James 'Arg' Argent's grandmother Nanny Brighton was already seen in the TOWIE Christmas special and is now said to be joining the cast as a regular member.
Also reportedly set to join the cast are a family of six, including two "hunky lads and three sexy girls".
Reports of the TOWIE newbies follows yesterday's news that Maria Fowler and Harry Derbidge will not be returning to the show.
Existing cast members have allegedly been warned to up their game if they want to stay in the reality soap, with a source saying: "Producers have always said they want to keep the show fresh. That means bringing in new characters and looking at established cast who have new directions in their lives.
"Viewers love the older characters so the new mum and dad in the family will be fun. But it means the current cast can't be complacent and have to up their game to compete with them. Nobody's place in the show is guaranteed."

The Only Way Is Essex stars Maria Fowler and Harry Derbidge are the latest cast members to confirm that they are leaving the show.
TOWIE has already lost some of its best loved characters in the form of Amy Childs, Mark Wright and Kirk Norcross, and now the show sees two more turn their backs on the 'reality soap' that catapulted them to fame.
Maria confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: "I would like to be the first to announce... After a rollercoaster year and after meeting with producers today we have decided that my time on TOWIE has come to an end.
"I am happy to be leaving the show on a high after 3 series and feel I am embarking on a new chapter in my life with exciting projects both personal and professional. Thank you for all your support during my time on the show and I hope to continue to keep you all entertained throughout 2012!!"
Harry - cousin of Amy Childs - also took to Twitter to break the news. "Hiya! I really did not want you to all find out so soon but its out there, I am not in TOWIE anymore as I am moving onto different things[sic]" he posted.
In December, it was rumoured that a total of five characters would be cut from the programme in a bid to shake-up the format.
Meanwhile, back in November James 'Arg' Argent revealed that he was "in talks" to appear in his own show.
