Iconic London Glaze Crayons Review

Are we the only ones seeing Iconic London Glaze Crayons all over TikTok? Tis’ the season to be shimmery, after all, and what is party szn without the glitz and glam? Iconic London has arguably mastered the art of dewy, glowy and shimmery makeup and we are so here for it. The latest addition to its 12 Days Of Glitzmas collection comes in the form of an epic five shade extension to their Glaze Crayons.

However, these are not your usual swatch-and-go crayons. These Glaze Crayons are dual-ended, featuring a crayon on one end that can transform your lid in one swipe, delivering a rich, pearly pigment. The other end features a doe-foot wand to give a wet-look glaze due to its liquid formula which is infused with fine, light-reflective pearls for that drippy, glossy finish.

This product was designed for those of us on-the-go babes who are constantly looking for an effortless but yet glamorous look that is way easier to achieve than it looks.

Iconic London promises us 12 shades with blendable textures and blinding shimmers that are designed to be pigmented enough for all complexions and you’re bound to find one that complements your natural hues just right.

Naturally we are mesmerised by the power these crayons must hold. So as people on team GLAMOUR scramble to be a tester for these Iconic London Gaze Crayons shades, here are five people’s unbiased and most honest thoughts.

I'm not always the biggest fan of liquid eyeshadows as I usually find them hard to blend. I was impressed by the dual end of this product as I'm always team multitasker. I started off by applying the crayon side. Although it was creamy to the touch, it definitely needed blending with a makeup brush. Once blended I went in with the liquid shimmer and that's were the magic happened. I tried to tap it with my fingers again, but as it looked patchy, I had to go in using a small makeup brush for this step too for the most seamless blend.

It gave me the perfect out-out eyeshadow. I am not one to play with a midnight blue but the mix of the cream and the liquid gave extra dimension to the final look and since I kept my makeup base simple all the focus rightfully went to the eyes. Big lashes and a bold wing sealed the deal. I'll most definitely be getting this one out for the next party on my calendar.

I am ALL about quick-but-glam makeup during the Christmas period. When I’m dashing from event to event, the last thing I want is the getting ready part of an evening slowing me down, so things like Iconic London’s Glaze Crayon are perfect for me.

You simply run the cream eyeshadow stick over your lid, blend it out with your fingers in seconds and apply the liquid shimmer for a more sparkly finish. It saves SO much time (which means getting a glass of fizz in your hand much quicker) so if you’re looking for something you can apply in the backseat of a cab on your way to a party this season, this is it.

My first thoughts on the ICONIC London Glaze Crayon: I love it. It’s perfect for on-the-go. The crayon side is creamy, but not so much that it would melt off or slide. And it’s smoky, but in a way that says seductive.

The lighter end with the liquid shimmer has an ample amount of brightening glitter to open up eyes and, also, it totally hides any imperfections. My one piece of advice? Trust the process; it's going to look a bit heavy and overwhelming at first but, as usual, once you layer it with a sweep of eyeliner and some lengthening mascara — *chef's kiss*.

Shade: Wildflower

Personally, I love a glittery and metallic eyeshadow look all year round, but obviously, when December comes around and the party season is on, there’s nothing more exciting than adding some shimmer and glow to your lids to spice up the look.

When I got my hands on the Iconic London Glaze Crayon, I opted for the Wildflower shade, which is a lovely rose gold-ish tone that complimented my complexion and eye colour in the most beautiful way.

I loved the seamless blend and the gorgeous metallic finish so much that I even dabbed a bit of the product onto my lips to marry everything together. It was such an easy way to elevate my day-to-day makeup look! Maybe next time, when I want a bit more drama, I’ll apply concealer on my eyelids to intensify the shine and pair it with a liquid eyeliner too.

Shade: Goddess

I’d seen a TikTok of someone using the Glaze Crayon so was *very* excited to try it out for myself. I love a product that does the hard work for you and with the dual end, this is exactly what this crayon does.

I applied the Goddess crayon end first, all over my lid and blended out with my finger, followed by dabbing the glaze end on the centre of my lid and inner corner of the eye. In under a minute I had an eye ready to go out in. The crayon also has some good staying power, which means you do have to blend quickly before it dries. Now I want one in every colour!
