Bubblesheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask , £7 for 1 mask Glamglow
This bubbling foam mask is recommended as a weekly detox to “put skin in its happy place” and “reveal glowing, deeply purified skin in just three minutes”. Big claims, backed up by antioxidant green tea leaf ‘teaoxi’ and purifying bamboo and charcoal. You can use it as a treat to perk up skin or even to remove makeup.

Beauty bio:Dry skin with an oily T-zone, prone to dullness.
What I usually look for in a mask:My skin can be super-dry and a bit dull when I’m tired, so I’m a sucker for masks that hydrate and soften. If it’s got any clarifying properties on top, I’m sold.
Bubblesheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask review:Being a bubble mask virgin, I was a little dubious about whether this would actually feel or perform any differently to a regular sheet mask. When you take it out of the pack it is reassuringly gloopy, loaded with lots of lovely hydrating goo my skin was crying out for. It fits pretty well, with good face coverage except for a weirdly short nose bit – the end of my nose (an area that needs pore-clearing charcoal action most) was left hanging.
Once on, the USP of this mask was immediately clear: I felt a lovely bubbling sensation, and it was pretty cool watching the black mask turn white as all the ingredients fizzed up to do their deep-cleaning thing.
You leave it on for just three minutes – just enough time to WhatsApp some terrifying pictures to my friends (this is definitely the scariest-looking mask I’ve ever used). What they don’t tell you on the pack is that once you take it off, the remaining mask can act as a washcloth for extra exfoliation and cleansing – bonus!
When I rinsed off the bubbles, my skin felt ridiculously clean and was noticeably glowing, a bit of a miracle considering it’s February and my pasty Irish face hasn’t seen sunlight in six months.
The best part? I needed way less makeup after I’d used it, and even got a few compliments on how good my skin looked (one was from my mum, but that still counts, right?)
Final verdict:Really fun to use for a deep clean and glow boost in just three minutes.
